By accessing or using the Areye platform — including our mobile apps, website, and APIs — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Areye.
Areye is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers for ride-hailing, parcel delivery, and cargo transport services. Areye does not provide transportation services directly. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Areye.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Areye. By using the platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
When you book a trip or delivery, you agree to pay the displayed fare. Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and demand. Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel after a driver has been assigned. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
All Areye drivers are independently vetted and must hold a valid Botswana driver's licence, police clearance certificate, and roadworthy vehicle. Areye reserves the right to remove any driver from the platform for conduct that violates our community standards or these terms.
You may not use Areye for any unlawful purpose, to harass other users, to transport prohibited items, or to interfere with the platform's operation. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.
To the maximum extent permitted by Botswana law, Areye's liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. Areye is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Gaborone, Botswana.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Areye after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email.
